2012 Playing Strip

All Everton Park Junior Rugby Union teams will have a brand new playing strip to wear this year. New jersey’s, shorts and socks will be included within your fee structure, which the players will be entitled to keep at the end of the year.

Training Times

Training for all Junior Teams is on Friday Nights, only held during school terms.

Under 6 – 11       5.30pm – 6.30pm
Under 12 – 15     6.30pm – 8.00pm

 

Overview of the Rugby Season

The BJRU seasons will commence with grading games on the following dates:

Under 6 – 9         Saturday 17th March
Under 10 – 15     Sunday 18th March

Three grading games will be played to determine which Division the team will be in for the Competition, followed by the season proper commencement.

 

Match Times

Matches shall be played at the times and grounds indicated, as set by the BJRU.

Start times are generally as follows:

Saturday:
Under 6 – 8.10am – New ARU Program including a game
Under 7 – 9.10am – 15 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 8 – 10.00am – 20 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 9 – 10.50am – 20 mins each way – 5 min break

 

Sunday
Under 10 – 8.30am – 20 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 11 – 9.20am – 20 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 12 – 10.20am – 20 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 13 – 11.20am – 25 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 14 – 12.20pm – 25 mins each way – 5 min break
Under 15 – 1.20pm – 25 mins each way – 5 min break

Game Days

All players should:
•  Arrive at least 30 mins prior to the commencement of the game (or as directed by their coach)
•  Advise their coach and/or manager that they are present
•  Be correctly dressed and ready to warm up with Mouthguard, boots, socks and headgear and playing strip.

Fees

The 2012 fee structure will be:

First child                   $270.00

First Sibling                $230.00

Second Sibling           $230.00

Each player will receive a complete Kooga playing strip, including our Brand New 2012 Game Day Rooster Jersey, Shorts and Socks. All players will receive their strip at the beginning of the season proper and be responsible for it for the entire season, bringing it to each game washed and ready to play.

The fee includes a Junior Rugby backpack, EOY trophy/ Medallion, team photo, Brisbane Competition player levy, player insurance, ground maintenance and lighting fees as well as use of new playing equipment and administration. No further match fees or costs are sought.

*Those involved in the committee will have their fees subsidised.
